Today is Nation al Read a B ook D ay! A student's power to read is a disquisitional predictor of educational and lifelong success. Yet today , over one-half of Chiliad-12 students read less than xv minutes per twenty-four hour period, l eaving them very little time to exercise and learn new words. Parents tin can share the gift of reading with their children every night by turning bedtime into stor y time, laying the foundation for success in schoolhouse and beyond.
